The HRS 144.2 Sport Handlebar System is designed for:
- •Dyna riders on Wide Glides, Low Riders, Street Bobs, Fat Bobs, FXRs, and other club-style or stripped builds who want serious sound without changing the front end
- •Sportster riders on Iron 883s, Forty-Eights, Roadsters, and custom café or bobber builds who live on twisting back roads but still want music on the ride
- •Custom Harleys and choppers with clean bars, a simple 12V system, and nowhere to hide a traditional head unit
If your Harley has standard handlebars and a normal 12V battery, chances are this kit will bolt on and wake it up.

If you have a handlebar clamp on your motorcycle in either of these standard Harley-Davidson configurations, we have a kit for you.
On a lot of Dyna and Sportster models, the speedometer and odometer cluster sit right on top of the handlebar clamp. This kit is designed for bikes where that clamp area is clean and free of gauges – for example, if you've moved your speedo to a side mount, mid-mount, or tank console, or your FXR / custom Harley never had a gauge there in the first place. If your handlebar clamp is clear, the HRS 144.2 pods are right at home.

Why this kit beats the bargain-bin pods
There are cheaper "motorcycle handlebar speaker" kits out there. You've seen them – tiny plastic cans, mystery-brand amps, wattage ratings that belong in a comic book. They might make noise in a parking lot, but they disappear the moment you're doing 100 km/h on a Dyna or Sportster.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Dyna / Sportster / custom Harley?
In most cases, yes. If you have standard handlebars and a normal 12V electrical system, the HRS 144.2 kit will work on most Dyna, Sportster, FXR, and custom Harley-Davidson models. If you're not sure, send us photos of your bars and front triangle and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
Do I need to cut or hack my wiring harness?
No. We'll supply you with a custom wiring harness with an inline on/off switch so you don't drain your battery when not in use. You'll connect to power and ground at the battery and route the harness cleanly along the frame. There's no cutting of your stock Harley wiring harness. We also give you the speaker leads to your new handlebar speakers from the head unit on the handlebar clamp, with plenty of extra to place them as high up ape-hangers as you like, or trim the leads for a more compact installation.
Can I upgrade later?
Absolutely. Many riders start with the 144.2 handlebar system and later move up to our 4-speaker and 6-speaker HRS systems when they add bags, highway bars, or a custom rear end.
