OUR COMMITMENT TO TOTAL QUALITY

As a manufacturer of motorcycles, we strive to provide our customers with beautiful, high-performing, high quality, and safe machines.  It is our responsibility to meet and exceed our customers' expectations by the use of the highest quality components, assembled by highly skilled and trained professionals, backed by systems to ensure and enhance the quality of their work.

QUALITY POLICY

Our products are produced through a commitment to Total Quality, that is,

a system that assured quality is built-in, not 'inspected-in'.

ENGINEERING LIAISON

We retain the services of an external Automotive Engineer (Motion Design Associates) who acts as an external peer-reviewer, to recommend best practices in the design and construction of our motorcycles, and to advise whether the standards articulated in our internal procedures and industry best practice are being followed.

PURCHASING POLICY

It is imperative that our component manufacturers have a track-record of proven quality, and they are able and willing to repair or replace components for warranty purposes, that there is a high likelihood that they will still be in operation years from now, and that they will communicate with us in the event of a product recall.

PERIODIC EXTERNAL TESTING

Our motorcycles undergo periodic external testing at dedicated motorcycle test-track facilities to ensure that our internal performance testing is vetted and continues to meets industry standards of best practice and regulatory requirements.

The components we manufacture, such as our Billet Aluminum Wheels, are sent for periodic testing to JASO standards at third-party test centers in the United States.

QUALITY CHECKS AND FINAL APPROVAL

Every motorcycle is inspected to the Road Safety Standards by an unrelated third party inspection center, is affixed with an inspection sticker, and the certificate lodged in the Vehicle Dossier.

Every motorcycle is road tested, either on a closed course or on the public roads under a Dealer Plate prior to delivery to the customer.  The road test includes both city and maximum highway speeds, in such a way that tests the function of major components including the drive-train, steering, suspension, brakes, and overall handling characteristics.  For this reason, we are unable to ship motorcycles during the winter months between November to April.  This is also the reason your new Havoc Motorcycle's tires and brakes will show signs of light use, and the odometer will show a small number of test miles when you receive your new motorcycle.
